Dr. Evangelos I. Kaisar has pursued his Bachelor, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering at the University of Maryland of College Park, Maryland. He is an Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). In addition, he is the Director of Freight Mobility Research Institute, Geomatics and Transportation Engineering program and Multimodal Intelligent Transportation Systems laboratory (MITSL) at Florida Atlantic University. His professional interests are Freight Transportation and Logistics/Container Transportation, Transportation Network Modeling and Optimization, Mathematical and Large-Scale Simulation Modeling, Emergency Response, Infrastructure Resilience/ Supply Chain Security, Transportation Management, Innovative Highway Geometric Design and simulation, Transit Network Planning and Design, and System Engineering and Integration.
